Peace Week

Peace Week is another idea borne from my moments as Chief Executive Dreamer at blueheART STUDIOS FOUNDATION. Through the foundation, I will bring a rabbi from Israel, an imam from Palestine, a Catholic priest from Italy, a Protestant pastor from America, an agnostic, an atheist, and a hippie, to Nouvo Inizio. There, we will discuss “what does one day of peace look like in your countries, your regions, your cities, your neighborhoods, your streets, your living rooms, your houses of worship, your places of respite, and in your hearts?”

This week-long session will be moderated by me, and the information gathered from this meeting will be published in the blueheART STUDIOS FOUNDATION NEWSLETTER.

The first Peace Week will be in the Spring of 2025 followed by another in the Fall. The participants of each Peace Week Workshop will be brought back to Orvieto in six months where they will report on what that one day of peace looked like and felt like.

I will bring a rabbi from Israel, an imam from Palestine, a Catholic priest from Italy, a protestant pastor from America, an agnostic, an atheist, and a hippie to Orvieto for a week-long gathering. We will discuss what one day of peace looks like in their countries, their regions, their cities, their neighborhoods, their streets, their living rooms, their hearts, and their places of worship and respite. At the end of the week, they will return to their homes and on the predetermined day they will record what that one day of peace sounded like, what they learned from that sound, and the one thing they loved as that day ended. Six months later they will return to Orvieto and share what they heard and learned and loved from that day.

I will offer Peace Week each Spring and Fall, beginning in 2025.
